The Makutano House Project

Phase 1

Makutano will now offer you the opportunity to support local artisans on a permanent basis. The 'House' will be phased as funding is available for future developments. At present Makutano will be able to offer visitors with a wide range of products within the existing compound.

THe Black Tomato will be based within the House to offer our visitors refreshments and entertainment.

The Makutano House project will also start the art and craft activities where for the first time in Dar es Salaam there will be a venue to host classes for both children and adults.

The annual Makutano Fair will be hosted at the 'Makutano House' the last weekend in November.
